SuomiNet (named to honor meteorological satellite pioneer Verner Suomi) is a network of GPS receivers to provide real-time atmospheric precipitable water vapor measurements and other geodetic and meteorological information. ARM has built geodetic monuments for Suominet GPS receivers across the SGP locale.
